Blight can be detrimental to the safety and economic growth of our community.  It can attract and breed a criminal element thereby driving down the value of properties within Hartford.  Through intervention we hope to collaborate with the community by identifying areas of concern and citing those in violation.

"In accordance with the definition of that term in Section 9-91 of the Hartford Municipal Code, an anti-blight notice of citation was issued on [the following dates] cited for continued existence of violations resulting in the property being considered a blighted premises."
